It had a nice and beautiful location adjacent to the nearby restaurant in town, tourist activities and restaurants, and Iceland.

I greatly enjoyed the room, the bed was good. The breakfast choice was fine with croissants and eggs. The hotel had a magnificent and beautiful position, in the middle of jackson.

Tastefully decorated and warm enough rooms, we did not want to leave.

We greatly enjoyed the hotel, just what we had hoped for. The room was very cozy, good bed. The location was excellent, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Bird watching. The nice onsite restaurant had a wide array of food. Would recommend this place and would want to stay there again.

We got room with cozy decor and a fairly clean bathroom to relax. The breakfast was good with freshly cooked cinnamon rolls, the best we had in Hvammstangi.

The location of the property was great, in the middle of jackson. We got a room with a bathtub.

The staff at this hotel were super helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. The windows had a beautiful view of the calm area, which was a great way to relax. The breakfast was delicious, especially the croissants and egg salad. Additionally, the property had a friendly and playful dog that made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, as it was a convenient stop between Reykjavik and Akureyri.

One downside is that there is no elevator, so it can be a bit challenging for travelers with big suitcases like us. However, luckily the rooms are on the second floor.

Satisfactory breakfast, we did not want to leave.

I got a well decorated and reasonably spacious room with private bathroom. Overlooked garden. As for me, the location was exceptionally nice, just off restaurants, and tourist activities and restaurants.

The guesthouse is conveniently located, roughly midway between two major cities. There are beautiful views of the surrounding calm area from the guesthouse. Visitors can enjoy a delicious breakfast with options like fresh croissants. Additionally, the guesthouse has a cozy sitting room and a bar service available.

The room was a bit small and lacked some necessary amenities.

gauksmyri guesthouse was a delightful surprise on our long journey. the homely decor and friendly staff made it feel like a home away from home. the freshly cooked breakfast and beautiful views were the perfect start to our day.

No tea making facilities in room.
